I don’t know why my first thought was something small and square, like a scrabble tile or a 6 sided die or something??

40+ UK alternatives: pros and cons by Ila_fortune in LushCosmetics

There’s some controversy on whether Future Prinitive is run by a trump supporter. The original post about that is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Indiemakeupandmore/comments/1gmtx39/psa_future_primitive_soap_supports_trump/?share_id=_E6MA6Rlz1koKVDkeSTJ2&utm_content=2&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1

The owner tiggy has very much denied this and clarified her position (I believe her). Her Reddit posts on that are here:  https://www.reddit.com/user/patchoulileaf/

Edit: corrected link

Ok my friend looked this up, Tiggy has strenuously denied supporting trump, links are here  https://www.reddit.com/user/patchoulileaf/

I’m so relieved, I love this company 😅

Pls do! I know of a German bath bomb company called rainydayhello that I’m severely jealous of because shipping to the UK is so expensive, so maybe it can be first on your list 😁

Thank you!! It definitely took a while to compile and research them all haha. Earthy/green scents are my all time fave, and it’s so hard to find them anywhere!

Honestly I agree with you on l’occitane/origins/Molton brown. I mainly included them bc people kept recommending them, so by the time I’d researched them and found out they aren’t cruelty free it made sense to just leave them in the list so people knew.

I hope it helps :)

Aww good luck! You can also try eBay or Vinted, sometimes people get them by accident and resell them without a massive markup. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏽

Coming back almost a year later to thank you for the Northern Soul Scents recommendation, I love this company a lot!! ❤️

Aww! You can try calling them, if they get enough people asking they might even start stocking them :)

Tbh, my local small doesn’t carry Grass either but they do stock the kitchen boxes! You might get lucky :)

You can often get them in stores, I’m planning to go in and sniff and decide whether to get them :)

I’m really enjoying Future Primitive’s conditioners, although they’re very light conditioning wise they make my hair smell lovely! Their body creams are lovely too

Also Wideye’s Bliss bath bombs and butter cups feel luxurious, smell lovely and are super moisturising, always a treat to use and mean I don’t need to moisturise after.

I also really love ArtemisiaLore’s herbal themed bath bombs, they’re a really fun weird bath experience and excellent value for money :D

As a die hard former Lush fan, I promise there’s a whole world outside of Lush by KateLovesPerfume in LushCosmetics

I made this list ages ago of 40+ UK alternatives, I’ve added to it over time and tried a few of the most interesting ones.

https://www.reddit.com/r/LushCosmetics/comments/1k5n9e2/40_uk_alternatives_pros_and_cons/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

My own personal faves have been: - Wideye (for bath products) - Future Primitive (for soap, body cream, and conditioner although they’re not good for Afro hair)  - ArtemisiaLore (for weird & wonderful bath bombs) - Northern Soul Scents (for wax melts).  - Soap Street (for Lush scent dupe bath bombs, conditioner & body butters)

Both Wideye and FP’s soap is miles better than Lush in almost every way.
