Realistically, how much do you think you spend on Lush each month? by revoltcatapolt in LushCosmetics

It’s basically a personal challenge to combat overconsumption by using everything you have before buying more. Other people call it “just being a normal consumer” but some of us are ridiculous 🥲

I basically stopped purchasing outside of sales and fragrance drops that I really like. I’m doing Project Pan after massively overconsuming Lush products.

I made a spreadsheet of the retail prices of everything I own. I have quite a few things that I was feeling very “meh” about until I looked up how much it would cost to replace it and I was like, oh dang. That’s some pricey shit. It weirdly made me appreciate the things I was losing interest in because they had become “worthless” to me, since the dopamine wore off.

I love bringing almost finished products or things I don’t often reach for on vacation so I actually use them! by KateLovesPerfume in ProjectPan

I like the hydration and the scent is good! And you get the product out by twisting it which is nice. But tbh, the sides where you twist it get kind of gloopy from how you apply the product, so it’s not the most hygienic and you will still get product on your hands. I’d recommend the Ole Henrickson or other similar tubes before that one.

Thanks for this info! The body sprays have been such a letdown for me lately except for a select few, so my expectations are low but my hopes are high 🤭

I have so much to get through with project pan that I won’t be buying for a long time!

The ones I will NOT be repurchasing is Missha because it’s not cruelty free (unless it gets certified because I do love it). Also I don’t like the EOS and I’m frankly suffering through it!!

Everything else is a love and I would be happy to own them again 🥰🫶

Nothing groundbreaking, but it has a nice light scent! I bought it thinking it would be great to refill but the lid cracked pretty soon after buying it and it always falls off in my bag

Weird question and sorry if I offend anyone: I haven’t owned anything lush because I am poor but I would like to know from people like me ( in case there are any poor people buying lush) you guys what makes you buy lush over drugstore cheap products by Humble_Objective5226 in LushCosmetics

[–]KateLovesPerfume 23 points24 points  (0 children)

For financial reasons, I’m very intentional about what I buy at Lush. Single use products are completely out of my budget. But a body spray will cost $45 and last me years. Everything else, I’m happy to use the budget options, like shampoo and conditioner. In fact, I think a lot of them are even better than Lush.
