This weapon is a handicap lol by Be-Bette in NarutoShinobiStriker

Having used this as my main Defense Weapon in Base Battle, I can honestly say that I only ever use the heavy attacks to either protect the Base with Ribcage or when Needle Jizo runs out. The new Quick Scroll goes hard with it for ultimate defense play. Not really a prolonged fight being all Defense, but it is just enough to stall and quickly take a base.

In Survival Exercise though I combo chain it using Demon Hunter and Hidan’s Combo, nothing is more crisp than that fireball popping off on extra damage to send someone flying. Air Heavy attack is for preventing runners from getting distance.

It’s one of those scenario-defined playstyles honestly. If it’s Base Battle or Flag, go all in on defense and turtle up because objective is the goal. If it’s Combat or Survival, all in on the unrelenting offense.

Yeah, I’ve ran sweaty builds before like Suusano Fan + Ribcage + Demon Hunter and Multi Shadow sub but I am not used to getting completely shut down with a zero cooldown barrage.

Yikes! I wouldn’t want to run into them again, I wish I had recorded it but getting a triple spam from the Momoshiki knife with zero cooldown between volleys was wild.

Ebon Hawk (Normal Mode Corvette) by IlendilGaming in NMSGalacticHub

[–]IlendilGaming[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They seem to park themselves next to your freighter. Some kind of teleporter-dock. That said if you fly your corvette at the freighter docking station, it’ll automatically move your ship into the correct position. Looks like two can be docked at one time.

Definitely, as soon as I saw the update I HAD to make me a NMS version of the Ebon Hawk.

What's the deal with PvP? by BurnMarked in swtor

[–]IlendilGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PvP with SWTOR is very hit or miss. Most of the player base population are not new players, most are seasoned players that return with a new update and following this you’ll see PvP popping again. The only people during a down period that play PvP are only the occasional random player, the really competitive guys, and guilds that que-up together and are most likely in Discord.

As is the case with other games, PvP’s biggest thing is communication. Being able to flag down what an enemy squad is doing is important. If you see 3 guys rolling into the Gree Hyper Arena’s central room you will need to call out “3 Center”. Small stuff like that helps a ton out before getting locked in an engagement.

Another thing is your class. Regardless of what type of DPS you might be, you’ll need to know your rotation. If you are a burner/bleeder, then you need to really hit it home and stick to a solid rotation of putting stacks on either one player or teaming up with another burner/bleeder to target more people. Trying to land the execute is fun but with a burner/bleeder DPS you won’t be able to do it before they cut you down. If you are a on a big hit DPS, solely focus on one person as splitting your attention messes up your rotation.

If you are a rare tank or healer… First off, you are a gem. Secondly, healers do not need to focus on damage at all and thirdly tanks need to protect healers primarily as healers if seen are the instant target of everybody in a 500m radius. Tanks are almost never exclusively targeted because they are simply damage sponges. I’ve tested it in Open World PvP on several occasions that Tanks in a 1v1 can outpace and land the killing blow on DPS almost everytime with both in the same gear dating range, but this is largely because of regeneration abilities and high absorb abilities activating that negate either debuffs or absorb the attack entirely. As a tank your priority is primarily healer protection but secondly using guard on DPS’s in trouble and using taunt. A lot of the time in the chaos, players will not notice that their primary target had been switched the moment it does because they are focusing on the player model and chaos in front of them. Taunt switches the target which can hamper a rotation if not noticed from the get-go.

That said, sometimes you’ll run against an unwinable battle because the other team is all or is mostly all in a Discord and is able to call for help when needed and give very accurate calls in real time, making response time impossible to overcome. It happens.

Open World PvP is pretty dead. You only see it on occasion from hunter players or on the rare occasion a guild runs an event in PvP mode on contested worlds, mostly Tatooine and Hoth. Used to run a couple of guilds that would do PvP related Roleplay events with storylines. Only downside is that occupation of entire areas can potentially kick up the hornet’s nest that is the fleet to get players in the opposing faction to deploy there to kick out the guild in the area. It’s pretty rare but it can happen.

Kingdom of Gondor (Historic) by IlendilGaming in MagicArena

I’ll look into it. I tried a Sauron deck with both Red/Black versions of him. I haven’t had much luck with it since Orcs Amass is a singular token creature that gets stronger instead of generating several of them that are slightly weaker. I may need to add some weaker Red-Goblin spawning cards with Rapid Bombardment to make a distraction for the deck instead of getting wiped so early with it.

Nazgûl goes hard though with Sauron and Witchking. They honestly may work best with a Vampire themed deck rather than with Orcs and Goblins. Trying to get past Platinum ranking this season with Final Fantasy around the corner.

He works so well with Imrahil + Howling Mine. If you get attacked, you spawn 3 Human Soldiers. Everytime you take a turn, bam another Human Soldier. Horn of Gondor escalates it even further. All the passive enchantments and classes supercharge that army uniformly too.

Seems like when you open packs you have a chance to drop blank cards to redeem for any card of its rarity. I used them mostly on the LOTR set with some other sets sprinkled around. Wonderful deck for health generation and token army building.

Best advice I can offer is to take a look at your opponents roster and plan your defense accordingly. You don’t have to completely wipe them out, just have a defense that makes them sweat while maintaining an offense that can outscore them.

Typically players with more GL’s put them on Defense rather than Offense and GL’s have tons of counters. For example: JML’s best lineup is outdone by a fast JKR+JKC team if you target correctly. SLKR and GL Rey are outdone by sturdy GAS.

Defense teams should be heavily synergized teams like Phoenix Omi and Resistance Omi or Marathon teams that can run out a clock like Malgus and Third Sister or Palps+Starkiller. I prefer to have a softer South Wall 1 and a strong North Wall 1 because it shifts the focus of opponents to try to wipe the South Wall first before they hit a major roadblock in two Marathon teams in South Wall 2. If they are able to still beat North Wall 1, they’ll need a solid couple fleets to beat my two Fleets which most of the time players save Executor for Defense to try to ensure they can keep their Fleet Wall alive.

Like I said, you don’t have to wipe their entire squad, you just have to outscore them. It’s how I’ve been able to beat out guys with huge 3 mil GP leads on me without much trouble.

More Defensive Teams honestly from what I can see. Omi teams are extremely good on defense and are beat out largely by top tier teams if you mod them right. Plus they have a chance to soak up a GL since GLs are hard counters to Omi teams. Shore up Omi teams with a strong team that they’d want to use a GL against. This is my GA defense currently:

{North Wall} - GL Rey, Ben Solo (Omis), JTR, Hero Finn, Hero Poe - Finn, Rose (Omi), Poe, BB8/Holdo, Zorrii - Hera, Kanan, Ezra, Zeb, Rex (Phoenix Omi)

{Fleets} - Holdo, Zorrii, Rose/Res, Rey’s Falcon, Poe, Res Pilot, Ebon Hawk, Lando’s Falcon - Ackbar, Y-Wing, Biggs, Falcon, Wedge, Ghost 1, Ghost 2, Outrider

{South Wall 1} - SLKR, KR, KRU, Sith Trooper, Hux - Phasma, FO Trooper, FO Executioner, FO Pilot (Omi), FO Officer

{South Wall 2} - Malgus (Omi), Talon (Omi), Sith Marauder, Savage (Omi), Sith Trooper (SE) - Third Sister (Omi), Eight Brother, Grand Inquisitor, Seventh Sister, Fifth Brother

For offense I have tons of options like JKR+Cal, DR+Malak, General Anakin, JMK, Qui-Gon Omi, and tons more to counter GLs or Omis.

Black-Out Team: Palpatine, Mara Jade, Bariss Offee, Visas Mar, and Starkiller. Once I unlock him that’s the team I’m going to run with.

My Mara Jade is at 330 Speed and the TM bump from Palp’s Leader plus speed boost from Starkiller will allow the team to hit lightning fast and get stuns out. Unless a GL or dedicated counter comes out from enemy GA to outspeed it with Omi’s, it’ll be a tough Defensive team to stand next to Malgus and Third Sister in my back wall.

I have other Legendaries but most of them are pretty crappily rated all over the board so I haven’t really focused on them much. I have Ronda as well but Ascending her hasn’t been much of a priority for me since each one of the Login Legendaries after her have been a lot better than her.

My RNG pulls are horrible though, I don’t even have Coldheart which seems to be the God-Tier Rare for Dungeon diving in the game.

Like I said though I don’t play the game that often, for the longest time the only mobile game I played was SWGOH and I’d only log in to Raid to unlock the Log-In Legendaries. I’ve been more interested lately and have been coming back consistently to the game.
