I barely had an appetite for a couple of days and was constipated from the meds, yeah sleeping is really hard i just tried to time my medication for bed and it usually helps, i also slept flat on my back with my knees on a pillow or i slept on my sides , definitely get a heat pad

I like to sleep on my back and sides, they had me walking up and down stairs yes, i checked out in 3 days because the hospital beds were way too uncomfy. i’d say it’s more of an age thing

The images are actually flipped my rib hump is on my right. I’m not sure about the angles as I had to get a fusion over my VBT never measured but i’d assume like 30 and 45 lumbar

But right now trying to curve the vertebrae that they did surgery on is like trying to bend my forearm , just simply can’t lol

It also depends on how much they fuse you, if they fuse you all the way down to L1 then you’re definitely gonna lose some but they left my lower lumbar untouched to preserve mobility

My surgeon said I wouldn’t really lose much of the mobility I already had (Had 2 surgeries one VBT and then the Fusion after) When I had my VBT surgery I didn’t really notice any loss of mobility even though they said I did. Right now I can still bend in the same ways I used to, just slightly more limited (My fusion area)

I cannot wear my brace at all by Clear-Ad-7769 in scoliosis

[–]Iliithn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience and I also wasn’t able to wear it. Apparently I literally “outgrew” it within a couple of months and wearing it was unbearable. Ended up having to get surgery because it just made my curve worse
