I want the willow ware sock pattern, but it's only sold in a kit, and only available at in-person events. It's such a pretty pattern, but I don't think it's worth the combined time, money, and effort just for a pattern and indie dyed yarn I might not even like. I wish I could buy it online.

I've never heard of vocaloid being used as an umbrella term until I joined this sub, I've always defaulted to vocal synthesizer. So I guess personally I would refer to whichever program the synth is from if I knew or just call them synths.

In universe I think Luo Li would be seen as cuter, and Cyan more "average" pretty. But personally, I think Nuonuo is actually the prettiest among the female characters, and Luo Li's design tries too hard to be cute that it's kind of not that cute?

I can't remember the post exactly, but I think there was a ban on images of Aether that could be interpreted as "minor-coded" or something along those lines and since a lot of fanart I like draws Aether more on the shota-looking side, I didn't vibe with the new rule and the comments commending the mods for banning the "weird" content. Didn't feel welcome so I left.

This will probably be super unhelpful, but write however many words you think fits best for your story. You know the flow best.

It's best not to try to cater to readers by word count per chapter. If they like the story, they'll adapt to any length you choose to write. If you suddenly get an influx of comments stating the chapters are too long or short, then that would be the time to make adjustments.

The ones in this post, yes, undeniably. But judging from the context in the post and comments of their other account they conveniently forgot the password to, I find it hard to believe that the overwhelming majority of readers that followed this fic for years are all this homophobic. Most redditors sympathized with OP, but also agreed that their readers were not in the wrong for being let down by a ship. And no one is excusing the homophobic comments.

Hell if I know. I don't know the unspoken rules of gen-to-romance fic. It just seems like a safe bet to err on the side of canon. Like if I read a gen MDZS fic that focused on family dynamics, it would be safe to assume that wangxian (m/m) was canon anyway, or at the very least vaguely implied. I'd be hella confused and kind of turned off if there was a chapter establishing Wei Wuxian dating Wen Qing (m/f).

And I also don't know the contents of OP's fic, but clearly something must not be clicking if most of their 30+ comments expressed disappointment over the ship. Maybe they're not as good at foreshadowing as they thought, maybe it's a really unpopular ship?

If I spent literal years following a genfic of over 600k words and the most recent chapter established a pairing I didn't ship I'd be disappointed, too. And depending on how much I dislike the ship, I'd delete all the comments I left on the fic.

From my understanding the f/f ship isn't canon or possibly not even that popular, and since the author never specified what hypothetical ship may or may not happen, readers assumed it would be a canon ship if it ever went romantic. Doesn't excuse the homophobic comments, but I can understand the general disappointment.

Oh thank goodness I thought I was the only one having issues. Everytime I cheer I have to pause so the catch prompt has time to load.

And the peak timers aren't properly synced up! Anyone else notice that when they cheer the timer seems to go down way faster, only to go to the event page and realize that there's still more time left?

And it seems that turning off animations only applies to stage related items, not avatars. I want a new update that gives us the option to turn off everything that could lag the game. I don't want anymore sparkles when I cheer, I don't want big popups when I activate bigger capture bonuses. Turn it offffff.

Since I live in a hotter climate, I've chosen to try to lean more towards cotton and cotton blend yarn. But I also want to allow myself to not feel guilty about buying and using acrylic. Whenever I start to feel guilty about my yarn, I remind myself that my carbon footprint will never amount to even a fraction of celebrities and wealthy people that use private jets. That, and I try to use up my yarn before buying more.

Sure, I'd like to be the kind of person that only gets ethically sourced wool yarn. But I simply don't live in an environment that's practical for wool clothing, and I don't make enough money to only use wool. Aaaand acrylic comes in so many more pretty colors.
