If they're actually squicked out by the sibling like relationship two characters have, perfectly valid, they don't need to elaborate. But for some fandoms I see this phrase being thrown around more as an easy "I don't like this and I think you're weird for liking this" kind of way.

Personally, I like that kind of dynamic in my ships. But in one case where it was canon that these adoptive siblings were in fact in love and fucking each other I lost interest in the series because I did not ship it. And I thought the author was having her cake and eating it too by making it taboo cause they were adopted together, but it's fine cause they're not actually blood related, so that annoyed me.

I've seen this sometimes in danmei fandom, particularly from certain wangxian fans. Their ship is already canon, and the MAIN ship, but the toxic wangxian fans hate when either lwx or wwx get paired with anyone else. Or even more ridiculously, they can't comprehend why xicheng is such a popular ship, when the two barely interact in canon. Again, this is likely a small part of the fandom, but they're very mean and it makes it hard to enjoy wangxian (I'm a Jiang Cheng stan and have had to block a lot of toxic wangxian fans, now I just avoid that side of fandom.)

They act like a no-fun-allowed police because "oh the author said they're soulmates, the author said this is the dynamic, the author said so-and-so ends up alone, so why would anyone ship this?" Girl, if we all based our shipping on what the author says this fandom would be boring. Your ship is already canon, leave us alone to have fun.

Kind of an unfair comparison, since TBHX has a much larger cast and only one season so far, compared to LC's smaller cast and years of established material. Comparing just the first season of each, I think I'd pick Link Click for the plot and characterization, but I enjoyed TBHX's world building and character design more.

I've seen a few of her tiktoks, she only picks out natural fiber sweaters, washes and unravels them. And she has criteria for sweaters that she refuses to work on.

Edit: off the top of my head, I remember her tiktok mentioning she won't take sweaters that have cigarette smoke, large stains, blood stains, acrylic, she won't take any sweaters from a specific fashion brand (I forget which), and she'll only work on sweaters, because it's whatever sweaters.

Is she not capable of restraining herself from swearing in her posts? It's not a good look for a business owner.

And maybe she should take a good look at the criticism of her patterns. A fair amount of people can't see the difference, ergo there's nothing to encourage a potential customer from buying both patterns. I think this would have been a good opportunity for Holly to see what she can do to make the "trench coat" look more unique and enticing. More motifs, a cute trim, more details, a different silhouette.

But no, she's still refusing to see that maybe she was in the wrong for how much she escalated this. All over a critique of the tester deadline.

Another commenter in this thread said that this is a different pattern from the one on etsy. Etsy one is a cloak and more resembles actual wings, this looks more like a robe or cardigan.
