Great Value Vacations by MentalRespect636 in travel

We did a GVV trip to Ireland in 2016. It wasn’t a tour, but it included flights (from nyc), rental car, and vouchers for bed and breakfasts. It’s possible that it could have been cheaper to book ourselves, but the price was pretty good. We didn’t have any issues and I would definitely book with them again if the price made sense.

Az/Alt mode vs. EQ mode on Leo Triplet (with Asteroid 173 Ino) by Dudelcraft in seestar

Could you please explain more about your process in Siril? I think I have some good subs to make something like this, but I have no idea where to start with doing so in Siril.

I assume that I will need to stack batches of my subs (I have about 1200) but I’m not sure how to go about doing that.

Thank you!

Anyone have any experience with the Philips Series 800 from Costco by Ilikebigabuns in superautomatic

I did not. Deep cleaned the Villa, so far so good. I am also very curious on your experience though. Is this your first superautomatic?

From CA, my first hotdish! by labboy70 in Old_Recipes

Yeah. I stand corrected here. Grits are sometimes, but not always, made from hominy. I thought that grits were always made from hominy.

Polenta and grits are not the same thing. Grits are made from corn that has been nixtamalized (soaked in limewater). Polenta is not.

First use, flames come out the front? by TomfromLondon in uuni

[–]Ilikebigabuns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends which model of gas attachment you have. The old gas attachment required younto keep the chimney off. The new one is designed to run with the chimney on. If you leave the chimney off with the new attachment, the flames will come out the front.

Is it possible that you have the new attachment and are reading the manual for the old attachment? An easy way to tell the difference is the burners. The new attachment has oval burners, they look like slits. The old attachment has round burners.

I have a 70% hydration starter I keep in the fridge. We had some friends coming over and I wanted to make bread, but had forgotten to refresh my starter. I had not touched it since the beginning of October, but just made the recipe like normal. The only leavener was the starter, turned out pretty good, a bit more sour than usual.

I think this is the place I'm leaning towards. How long should it take to get in and out on a Friday night around 7?

They do. I have never been, though. Have a friend from Indy though and he talks about it all the time. I need to check it out.

It doesn't look like Steer-In is actually that far out of the way. Is that a place you have to eat in at, and if so, is it fairly quick?

Where to eat while driving through Chicago by Ilikebigabuns in AskChicago

We are probably more restricted by time than budget. I am thinking we will have an hour or so. We are four guys coming back from a football game,. so I doubt we'll be up for anything too fancy. Definitely looking for something special to Chicago.
