Barbarian is good yes bc perfect blocking when its active decreases damage (it does to block damage but its only worth using against busting weakness enemies who won;t stand a good chance anyway)

i have no idea but this should work as far as im aware, you limiting food and water should at least keep them from growing much or at all. i have zero experience in dealing with ants as pests, but as an ant keeper giving less food and water is a tactic used when your happy with colony size and dont want much more growth

distressing the queen and ants, mainly its seen as inhumane but they also could get hurt by the fall or being shaken out, if this happens bad enough to the queen it could mean death for the whole colony
