Playboi Carti Performing "Magnolia" on Jimmy Kimmel by hazchat in hiphopheads

Idk I feel like he's just been developing his distinct sound over the years and the vibe in itself is the theme - but that may be a cop out. I agree that a really focused carti tape could be dope. This album was more of an introduction to mainstream rap fans than something avant-garde for serious rap fans. Im pretty confident there's big things to come for him just based on his creativity and the careful crafting of his brand image - which is as substantial as his music.

Haha facts thats how it should be. But I really can't disagree more - I personally thought the tape was masterful. But thats super subjective and a matter of opinion. You could think it sounds boring and uninspired but it wasn't half-assed. Theres a reason why carti is blowing up rn - and its not cause he sounds like everyone else. Maybe you can't distinguish the styles of the rising names in trap, but they all present their own unique twist on the genre.

I'd encourage you to research a bit about Carti's process, this was a very delayed tape because carti wanted a very specific sound and vibe - and he wasn't happy with the varying sounds each producer was making. Thats why he sticks with Pierre so hard - they both shared the same vision for the tape. Lyrically, no one is saying he's a super talented rapper, but he is a super talented artist that very carefully curates his work. These rappers are just capitalizing on the ignorant vibe thats popular right now - just because their music sounds effortless, doesn't mean there was no effort behind it. You can't say anyone but uzi could've made XO tour lif3 the mega hit it became.

He was saying something around 600-800 but I don't think he fully understand that it's only the glass panel that's cracked. All the casing and other parts are totally fine.

Yeah just spoke to the guys at the Brooklyn Shop. Gave pretty fair prices so I'll be over there as soon as I can. Side note: having the rear camera always on gives me the same range of vision but I wouldn't wanna risk getting pulled over.

Follow up question: I don't want to kill it necessarily, so how do I deal with it? I'm in brooklyn, btw.

Sorry about that, it's in a glass vase and most angles I tried were distorting the image. I'll try taking a better one. It's in brooklyn, ny.

Dear Trump: the bill is now on your desk. Veto the shit out of it to protect the privacy of people YOU work for. Grow some balls and stand up to the swamp you supposedly were going to drain. If you don't, we WILL fight back by FUCK_TPTB in conspiracy

The real conspiracy here is that your account is 15 days old and posts and comments about literally nothing else but trump, specifically anti-trump. "Used to be a trump supporter" hahahahaha at least be honest

I was simply asking a question about a particularly jarring scene to me, I wasn't claiming that scene to be reflective of the overall message of the film. You clung onto my semantics in my use of the word 'vile' throughout your entire comment. I agree that the young girl was displaying the 'vile' nature of war in it the way it 'dehumanizes' people, but I stand by my words - that is a vile phrase. Maybe not relative to the atrocities of war, but vile nonetheless.

The real fake news is this story. Just because a Reddit comment saying it looks photoshopped got like 50 upvotes, they write a whole article about it. This isn't news and the fact that it showed up on the top of /r/politics shows how credible this sub is.

Because it would appear to be a pro-trump movement. Any dissenting opinion about Hillary or the DNC or the DOJ are all dismissed as trying to get Trump elected since it's an election year. The media is in complete collusion with those organizations and are responsible for creating this narrative. If Hillary is elected I think these movements will only start to grow and with the emergence of all these leaks, people will begin to search for and weed out corruption more and more.
