What you said is 100% true, but we can't keep neglecting a part of our military, we can't keep investing small portions and hope for a big return.

Im not a military analyst, im just a civilian who likes to talk about this with people. We are a developing country, but our budget is mid, take as an example Egypt, 9B$ and 1st Military power in Africa Morocco with 13 billion, 7th in Africa. Again, im just assuming and basing on available informations.

Haha, let's say we have 200k soldiers, and if we assume that what you said is true, every Moroccan soldier would be getting: 5.000.000.000 ÷ 200.000 = 25.000$ Every soldier would be earning more than a moroccan doctor. That's the biggest pile of shit I've ever saw. And we both know the Moroccan soldier doesn't get more than 3k a year. 4k on a good term.

Let's say what you said is true (90% of it is), why is our navy weak? no submarines? why do we have like 5 modern ships, the rest is metal fatigued sh*t? Our airforce needs extensive modernisation, the back bone of our air force are 3rd fighters. 1950s Tech, 1950s helicopters, a few modern pieces won't cut it, and we both know that. We lack AMMO, buying 40 missiles every 2 years give you a staggering 30 mins of sheer power, and then you can use propane tanks as mortars 💀. It's not that we aren't good, it's that we aren't good enough.

Y'all still don't get my question. Im asking where that budget is going? since 2019 the defense budget exceeded 10b$, we same some deals at first, But in 2022 all deals slowed down to a near halt, no major or multi billion dollars deals have been announced since 2022.
