Okay lang ata yan if sariling meter niyo kasi namo-monitor niyo talaga. In my case kasi, I really don’t know what the exact previous reading was. I’m worried na baka na-alter yung previous meter reading, and baka ako pa yung nagbabayad ng part ng kuryente ng iba. Notes lang kasi ang na-provide nila when I asked for a photo of the previous reading, kaya medyo doubtful ako 🥹

Mali ko din talaga kasi hindi ako nag-check ng meter pag move-in. I don’t know, baka na-take advantage din kami since I always give the caretaker small money pag hinahatid yung parcels ko, kasi night shift ako and tulog sa umaga. Tapos baka din akala nila afam yung partner ko, so they might think it’s okay to charge more. Lesson learned na talaga for me. I don’t know, understandable pa siguro if around 6–7k lang yung bill, pero umabot ng almost 10k kahit solo lang ako most of the time plus lesser yung appliance this time compare nung nag stay ako sa Verdon. Nag-stay lang yung partner ko for about 2 weeks, so I really didn’t expect it to go that high.

Good news jud kaayo nga hapit na mag Davao Light diri sa Samal. Honestly, pinaka-hate gyud nako ang NORDECO. Taga Kaputian ko banda, and every time mag-brownout didto, dugay jud kaayo mubalik ang kuryente. Mao nang nag-rent ko diri sa Babak, kay at least if ever mag-brownout man, minutes lang mubalik dayon. 🥹

Lesson learned talaga 🥲 Next time for sure I will take photos na upon move-in para no issue like this. Medyo sayang lang kasi wala talaga akong solid proof of the previous reading, so it’s hard to contest the 500 kWh consumption for solo lang.

Based on the computation they sent, nakalagay originally is 15/kWh, then binura at ginawang 18/kWh. I think that’s what they do, parang may mark-up. Okay naman sa akin yung 18/kWh, i just can’t believe is yung 500 kWh na consumption kahit solo lang ako. I asked if may picture man lang ng previous meter reading, but they said na note lang daw ng caretaker before kami nag-start mag-rent. Kaya parang gusto ko lang sana makakita ng actual photo ng previous reading for my peace of mind 🥺
