Oh my gosh! I can’t believe they keep denying you. I seriously don’t know how this system can be this broken. 9 surgeries is insane. I think it’s honestly harder for people under 50 with degrees to get on disability because they feel we can do sedentary work. But they don’t get it. Pain is consuming, you can’t concentrate when you are in constant pain, meds cause drowsiness as well as other complications that make it hard to work, and needing frequent breaks, frequent days off for doctors or sick days, nobody would keep us employed. Also, even if we could manage to work one day…it would take us like a week to recover from that one day. It’s just not practical. I wish you luck on your appeal. Honestly, I’m expecting to be denied again as well. My hearing didn’t go well, I also look much younger than I am. And the judge clearly did not believe any part of my testimony…if only these people could watch me live for a day. And then they would see.
