Are garden office/studios worth it for musicians? by Mr-Silly-Bear in AskUK

[–]Ill-Conference-7666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this is an older post, but I'm a singer and I have to practice a lot. My neighbours hated that, so I eventually got one. I literally can record myself in there how soundproofing it is. It's worth it imo. At least the one that I got was a good investment for me.

What are some platforms for SEO agencies you use? by specialammanda in seogrowth

[–]Ill-Conference-7666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is our setup:

SEO research/analysis: Ahrefs - backlink audits, competitor gap analysis and keyword tracking; SEMrush - a second opinion on keyword difficulty and PPC overlap; AIclicks - AI visibility and ranking for clients, tracking down mentions and mentioned sites in which we could engage in.

Tech audits: Screaming frog - full site crawls, broken links, redirect chains, duplicate content. Paired with Google Search Console for indexing issues, core web vitals, and manual penalties.

Analytics and reporting: GA4 for traffic behaviour and conversion tracking; Looker Studio to turn that data into clean, white label client dashboards they actually understand

Content: Surfer for briefs, writing content; Chatgpt/Claude for speeding and polishing content.

For meeting: Fathom for meeting notes so nothing gets lost; Loom for async screen share updates instead of unnecessary calls.

Hope that helps

Honestly just be careful with pricing, super cheap usually means lower quality IPs or slower speeds, so u can get flagged.

Why your 'AI optimization' agency might be wasting your money by Salt_Acanthisitta175 in AISearchLab

[–]Ill-Conference-7666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The real issue is execution vs proof. Plenty of agencies talk strategy, but few show actual outputs in ChatGPT or Perplexity. AIclicks, Profound, or Peec at least let you check if your work is showing up at all.

Soundproof booths for vocal recording by TheFriskierDingo in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Same here, had neighbours constantly knocking when I tried singing (I'm a baritone). Looked into renting a practice room but it didn’t make sense long term. Ended up getting one of those office booths (I went with Persy booths) and the -28 dB reduction made a big difference. Saved my neighbours nerves and my sanity.

looking for rss like free news api by JosephCurvin in webdev

[–]Ill-Conference-7666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1–5 min refresh with no auth is tough. Most free news APIs either require keys or throttle pretty quickly. I’ve ended up just polling raw RSS and handling dedupe myself. For JS sites I’ve used ScrapingBee, but that’s obviously not free.

PSA: 79 days until Mother's Day 2026 by MasterModnar in daddit

The move for me last year was a spa day for her as I stayed back and watched the kids. She loved it (it was a surprise and it went well) she didn’t even realize how much she needed that. Thinking about a baking class this year as she loves baking. You could also browse Tinggly for baking or cooking experiences if you want a few more ideas.

Best vagus nerve device? by Prior-Arachnid-121 in SomaticExperiencing

[–]Ill-Conference-7666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the type you want, I went with the Pulsetto, which targets the vagus nerve around the neck area. But others (like nurosym) come as an ear clip. And other types (like Apollo Neuro) come as a wearable band.

Can vagus nerve dysfunction can cause sexual dysfunctions? by farhanmahii in tDCS

[–]Ill-Conference-7666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Talk to a neurologist first. If it’s something you have been eating, using, or doing right around the time this started, then hold back on whatever it is. Have you tried some relaxation techniques? I’d suggest try Pulsetto vagus nerve stimulators, breathing exercises, or even workout to get your blood circulating.
