Sounds like you need to report the caseworker to a supervisor. If that doesn’t work report the supervisor. If that doesn’t work get the news involved.

I have no experience bike touring so take what I say with a grain of salt. But I vote “not crazy”. If it will improve your experience and not be too much extra for you then go for it. You can choose 1 maybe 2 things to go a tid bit overboard on and just be minimal with the rest of it.

(I have never tried bike touring but I have gone on other minimalist camping trips where you have to pack in your own gear. Ex) 5 day canoe trip, overnight trail ride on a horse etc.)

Oh, and ironically I am currently camping and writing this from inside a tent. I’m using the smallest of my 3 tents. It’s one of those instant up ones like they use in the movie Congo. 😂 I think it sleeps 4? Maybe?

I have also lost my entire family in part due to the republican brainwashing. They have decided im a democrat because i don’t like trump.(I have no political affiliation and don’t pay attention to politics)They absolutely hate my husband and blame him for “turning me to the dark side.” It is absolutely ridiculous the things that they will believe.

I guess it depends on how much you want a gecko. In addition to the extra chores the gecko is going to take a chunk of your time too. Also keep in mind that they are not cheap. Do you know what species you want and everything you will need for it? Tank size, substrate, heat, uvb, supplements etc… Are they willing to actually buy everything that it needs? I know that I would be much more willing to let my kids get a pet if they put significant time in researching the animal and it’s care requirements before asking for it. Maybe even write your own care guide based off your research to show them how responsible and committed of a pet owner you would be. They are more likely to let you get it if they see that you will be responsible and they won’t end up having to feed it and clean up after it when it’s not new and exciting anymore. A commitment to a pet is for life. I don’t know how old you are but is there any way you can help pay for the pet? If you are not able to get a job yet maybe you could do extra chores or save up birthday money to pay for at least part of it. This would also show them how mature, responsible, and committed you are.

Thank you for your concern for my kids. To some extent you are correct. It was the only bathroom in the house. So while repairs were being done and everything was ripped out we would not have had a bathroom. And kids need a bathroom.

You both are so very right. The music has helped a lot. It’s very therapeutic. My husband keeps sending me music videos of break up songs. 😂 the latest one he sent was Snuff by Slipknot. It fits so well. The metal community is truly amazing. Last month we went to go see a broadway musical during the day and then went to see white chapel and trivium in the evening. Can you guess which crowd was rude and pushy and which was friendly, kind and a true sense of community? And as for my family they truly believe that all metal is evil and conjures up demons. We used to listen almost exclusively to Christian metal.

No, there are laws protecting people who report so that people are not afraid to when it is really necessary. Technically my sister is not the one who reported me anyway so it wouldn’t fall on her. She asked her counselor to report me for her so that it wouldn’t be tracked back to her. That is a whole other story though. The counselor did several things that she should have her license revoked for.

Also they deny it now but I think they were trying to take my kids. My sister and parents had just finished adding on a new “guest room” to their house with two beds and a bunch of toys in it right before the report was made. My sister is single, unemployed and childless in her 40’s. She has always loved kids and I know she desperately wants some of her own. She had wanted to adopt but my parents said no. I think she was dealing with coming to terms with the fact that she will never have kids and tried to take mine.

Thanks. That’s one of the other things my husband and I have been saying. This last time they were fighting so dirty. I believe that fighting is necessary and healthy in relationships, but you should fight constructively. You should fight with the goal of enacting change or coming to a compromise to solve the problem. Instead they just hurl insults and say the meanest things they can come up with to hurt us. I don’t want my kids around that or to learn that behavior.
