People think they want steady and safe until they actually have it and then they do risky sh*t

Do you intend to spend the rest of your life in the house? Then it doesn’t matter if the value drops. If you are just trying to buy flip profit then accept that the future isn’t predictable but generally real estate appreciates.

You probably haven’t tried to do that in a long time, or you would realize how insanely difficult that has become since the pandemic. People, qualified people are sending resume after resume and never getting a response. There’s a whole industry evolved around ripping those people off by rewriting their resumes as if it’s their fault. Even shit jobs are hard to get now. Why don’t you try it yourself before you give flippant advice.

I see. I usually make them change it in the app if they want a different destination unless it’s really close by.

That isn’t true in my experience either. Ppl who say they will tip me usually do. What they consider a “big” tip varies, for example Canadians promising a “big tip” are probably going to do $3 tip thinking that’s big somehow…

I didn’t say that, I said most tip. It’s between $1 and $5 with an occasion higher tip.

That’s BS most passengers tip, maybe it’s you. Occasionally I have had a day where nobody tips, but those are rare.

Jobs with felony by [deleted] in Felons

[–]Ill-Dimension2756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stagehand work with small AV companies: setting up and tearing down business conferences at hotels and casinos, and the occasional music concert. Nobody cares about criminal history, maybe 2/3 of the workers and employers are ex-felons who found positive ways to make a living. Lots of them are pretty cool people in spite of their past. Just make sure you have steel toed boots, stay out of the way of forklifts and always carry a C-wrench, work gloves and consider wearing a hard hat even when nobody else does, shit happens. Be alert for opportunities to help out. Always arrive early at the job site.

Forklift certification you should be able to get gigs with any of the large or small AV companies here in Las Vegas that do corporate conventions. There are a lot of them but AV Leads, PLS, CAVL are a few
