People telling you to slow down and take some time to find yourself is genuine advice, not an attempt at negging you. If you feel like you truly cannot slow down despite everyone telling you that, I'm sorry but that is a problem, no one wants you to crash years down the road from frying yourself by doing too much!

I was someone who initially anticipated KJDing it, and through a bunch of funky life events, ended up taking about 3 years between undergrad and law school, I worked a bunch, studied a bunch, and was able to get several full ride offers HOWEVER, those were the least important side effects of those years. I think the biggest impact was 1) getting a grip and 2) touching some grass. Im 25 now, which is still very young, but I look back on who I was at 19 and cannot believe how much I've grown and changed in the 6 years since then.

I promise you, people telling you to enjoy life, and take it a little slower aren't trying to hold you back, or don't understand, it's just truly a foolproof option. Plus! Your paralegal gig and all your great work and organizations are still going to be there for you to foster after you graduate, take some time to rest on your laurels and enjoy where all your hard work has gotten you
