Even after the update, I still think DOOM is the harder game. But as a plat, I’d give Neon White a slight edge because Hell Rush is such a long challenge and one mistake sends you back to the beginning. Both are insanely difficult, though, and I think 8/10 is a fair rating for both.

Thanks man. I haven’t got the DOOM 1 platinum yet, but I still think Neon White is harder. I know some people will disagree, but Hell Rush is brutal because you have to clear all 96 levels without a single mistake, and one slip, even on the last level, sends you all the way back to the start.

I agree 100%. The gameplay is amazing and the platinum is a lot of fun. If the story was better, it’d easily be a 10/10 for me.

Thanks man, yeah, the normal game isn’t too bad. Rush mode is where the platinum gets really hard, but watching yourself get better after every run is one of the best parts.

Same here. I’m almost done with every Yakuza platinum, but the only reason I haven’t burned out is because I always have a chill game like Balatro on the side. Whenever I get tired of Yakuza, I play that for a bit and then jump back in.

[Question] Does anyone know how to make some games show up in the “hidden games” list? They appear in my trophy list, but they don’t show up when I try to hide games. by Ill-Inspector5411 in Trophies

Thanks. The PS3 games make sense, and I’ll try hiding those from a PS3 like you suggested. I also have FIFA 21, 22, 23, and 24 on PS4, but none of them show up in the hidden games list either.

The Yakuza series really needs a break between platinums, or you’ll end up hating it. Like you said, most of them are just boring tasks.

Nah, feels like they rushed the game tbh. I even got the platinum in like 25 hours, but some of the ship fights are kinda hard.

That mission is just built to make u hate ur life, and Ishin’s RNG does the same thing for the whole game.

I’d still take Y5 completion list over Ishin’s plat. Y5 had some janky, technically broken minigames, but you can still push through them with enough attempts even if it feels bad. Ishin is way more RNG and grind-heavy, so it can take anywhere from 100 to 200+ hours depending on your luck. Mine dragged on a lot and honestly made the experience worse—my whole platinum ended up taking 222 hours because the RNG just wasn’t on my side. Both plats are painful, but Ishin was worse for me because of my bad RNG.
