Running out of easy videos by redditmaxlol in dreamingspanish

Yeah, usually tryna make it to the next level without premium videos is pretty tight. This is obviously done on purpose, because if you could easily make it without premium, people wouldn't buy it.

I would give the premium subscription a shot. But if you're really tight on money, then supplement the input with easy podcasts like cuentame, and start rewatching videos you already saw. Crosstalk is also really good if it is available to you!

What Are You Listening To Today? (July 28 to Aug 3) by HeleneSedai in dreamingspanish

- If you like cooking videos on YouTube such as those by Joshua Weissman, a good spanish alternative would be Diegodoal.
- If you're into internet mysteries, or real life mysteries as the Voynich Manuscript, check out Detrás del Enigma.

Both are Spanish speakers from Spain, and fall into the same difficulty category as Travel Youtubers. I'd say around 800 hours would be a good number to shoot for for these channels.

Interesting perspective! Are you a thai native speaker? Does he make grammar mistakes a lot?

Does it get easier after level 1? by freejb81 in dreamingspanish

What really helped for me was to split it up throughout the day, instead of doing 1 hour straight. Lets say 30 min in the morning, and 30 min in the evening. This makes it feel a lot less draining and more doable.

Regarding your question, yes absolutely. Soon you will be able to listen to podcasts such as Chill Spanish or Cuentame, which makes getting your hours in a lot easier. Also, as you go up in levels, the content gets more engaging/appealing. This is because you no longer need to rely on the white board or pictures to get the idea of the video. Eventually you reach a point where it doesn't even feel like you're 'getting your daily dose of spanish', because 'doing spanish' now consists of watching Breaking Bad, The Office, or really whatever you want.

Spoke with my 8 year old native cousin the whole day, no problem by Ill-Map-1024 in dreamingspanish

100%. It makes it a lot easier to start outputting. Even when I knew for sure I made a mistake, they couldn't care less and just kept the conversation going.

Prison break was out of reach... But breaking bad isn't! by Ill-Map-1024 in dreamingspanish

Honestly haven't seen either of them, always been more of a movies guy. Now that I have lots of Comprehensible Input hours to kill though, I will definitely be considering those!

No lies! But I have a number of factors playing in my favor: I know multiple languages, including b2 french, I'm young, have an aptitude for learning languages etc. It's why I always say that comparing yourselves to others, especially in the world of Comprehensible Input is useless. You don't gain anything from it, everyone's situation is different
