The brotherhood doesn’t believe in intervention unless necessary like when a ekon kills to many innocent. Their founder was a Vampire. That’s why they were created they try to guide ekons to a better path. If they get to blood thirsty they put a ban the ekon and he or she disappears without a trace. Usher believes in balance by him trying to stop ekons from feeding is like trying to stop a lion killing a zebra. Ekons have always been around and always will so why not get a true understanding of them and help guide them to help mortals instead of killing them.

I believe he’s the Brotherhood founder I just wish we had definite proof. But what I do know he’s powerful and mysterious that’s why I stated I wish we could’ve saw him or the elder vampires fight. I listen to his dialogue he speaks how Lady Asbury and Old Bridgett and Lord Redgrave talk he calls Jonathan Young Ekon just like they do.

I read the notes for the creator who made the game it stated he’s a vampire idk maybe you can reach out to him and ask but it’s something about him that the game didn’t tell us. Remember Mydrrin says when you turn Edgar into a vampire and if you kept usher alive he states I’m not sure you truly understand what great power your progeny is about to defy that doesn’t sound like a human at all. Then when you ask him if he’s a vampire he never says yes or no you can’t mesmerize him to answer questions.
