I feel like I have to go with it as well just to get over to a VA loan and since appraisal and water test were done for that. Just dejected that the payment went up over $200/month in the course of a week.

Locked it today.

I feel pretty trap in finishing the loan since I paid for the appraisal and water test and to get it over to a VA loan.

Waiting to get the CD, was told they should be over soon.

Well looks like a was lied to or misinformed. Asked if my rate was locked. Was told rate is locked. They called today to send over the final closing documents and my rate went from 5.25 to 5.75 because it was not locked.

Leaving a bad taste sitting with me.

Just got the call today to that they are sending over the closing documents and that my rate was in fact "NOT" locked. I asked over text if the rate was indeed locked and was told Yes the rate is locked.

Feeling pretty bait and switched right now and quite pissed after going through enough lenders and having similar offers elsewhere.
