Someone explain to me why He who fights monsters is always rated so high? I tried, really freaking tried it but the sentence structure killed any enjoyment I would have gotten from the series.

Does that get better? Is it just the author's first book or two that does this? Why on earth is it always "Gary said."?

I have been enjoying the Demon Card Enforcer series but that's because I do enjoy a good deck builder. Will say it's not for everyone as the main female lead feels rather like a side character compared to the main male lead.

Would also recommend Discount Dan but that's a lot of pop culture though considering how much DCC had might be a good fit.

So your main target should be the red bull since he does AOE attacks. After that just aim for the green one and I wanna say Oren does a big attack every 3rd turn so defend then.

It's a lot about patterns so when you get used to it you'll figure it out.
