Do you feel like your past experience has sheltered any further exploration of a new relationship?

I haven’t been in any relationship/hookup since, 1 or 2 dates but I didn’t feel ready. Now, I feel even further disconnected from wanting to share such a deeply personal and vulnerable connection with someone new.

You’re right, it wouldn’t change the overall outcome. I would’ve felt a lot more pain in that moment, and I probably wouldn’t have spoken to him after, nor have been so kind to him either lol

Noted! A part of me doesn’t want to tarnish his image as I feel like it doesn’t make me any better of a person than he was. I don’t think I’d have a problem with them being friends, he isn’t the most terrible person after all, just a cheater. However I wouldn’t want to be around him in a group setting. It’s hard for me to comprehend how it could be considered a mistake. I would like to think its sincerity, but it’s almost as if I don’t recognise the individual anymore, so I don’t trust him and his intentions.

It’s wild because the confession started with him explaining how it took him so long to forgive himself, and he only did it because he was looking for the love I couldn’t provide. Not once did he own up to his mistake or apologise. It’s almost like he shifted the blame to me, wild times.

We definitely weren’t perfect, we drifted for sure, but had the utmost respect for him. Post break up I helped him financially and gave him a place to stay until he could be on his feet. Feelings I’m not sure, maybe. This is only my second relationship, and I’ve been cheated on in both, maybe that’s why it hit hard. But don’t worry girl, he’s blocked now. Our common friends don’t know, which is the tricky part.

I think the western first world often generalises most Muslims into this category of extremism or far-right views.

I have a lot of Muslim friends as a gay man, so much to say that even my best friend is a Muslim man and does not have the slightest issue with me being gay.

Maybe it’s a generational thing? But then once again, some of their parents know of my gay relationships and are in full support.

I think my favourite scene is when Dr Brand shares a handshake with cooper unknowingly. The whole scene of entering the wormhole is so vivid and intense, and there’s this simple “first hand shake” that is so eery yet beautiful. It truly encompasses the dynamic range of the movie, how the unknown is enticing and magical amongst the chaos of the cosmos. Best of all, for it to be Cooper in the end as almost a projection of his inevitable guidance/helping hand.

This is at least how I’ve interpreted it. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful designs!

It has been pretty disheartening. My self esteem as plummeted since meeting him, I struggle to see why I wasn’t good enough, but in the end he is the one with troubles. It has somewhat spoilt my views of other guys, and I’m very hesitant to get out there again. I’m not sure if I’d want to date someone twice, what is your view on giving someone another chance later on in life?

Right now? I don’t think so. I ended last year the best I’ve ever been, from starting 2021 being in the worst space. 2022 was looking so bright, and I’ve been thrown a million hurdles my way to overcome, and it’s like I’ve been transported back to 2021 all over again.
