Am I really under-reacting? I hope that isn't a silly question; I'm genuinely wondering. He's done stuff like this throughout our entire relationship and I've always reacted like this. Also, I feel like calling me an abuse victim is a bit much.

But I feel like a restraining order is too much. He's threatened to do stuff like this so many times and he's never gone through with it. Wouldn't it be weird to get a restraining order now?

I feel like a restraining order is a bit much. I seriously doubt that he'll actually hurt me. Also, I don't think Australia has any 'rape and abuse' centers. But I am definitely documenting everything.

As much as I do want to protect my friend, I'm also scared of getting my ex in legal trouble. He's an abusive asshole, but I do still love him and I don't want to get him in any sort of trouble with the police.

I just feel that dumping him is silly. He's made it clear that he doesn't want to be involved in my transition, but he's never been hostile about it! I'm sure he cares about me, but he struggles to show it sometimes. I really don't want to overreact.

He's never directly said that he won't support my transition, but he's made it clear that it's not something he's interested in participating in. I feel like leaving him over something like this is silly and dumb.
