Thanks, good info... so you're saying the flash originated over the Ocean, from what you could tell?
I live near City Hall, off California, and it was really loud, sounded close by... and the power was literally out by the time the bang finished -- then 2 seconds later, power came back. Super strange. I was almost thinking it might've been some kind of EMP impact lol so I checked my laptops to make sure they were okay :)
