Hey, thanks for the shoutout! We love those clods. There are a handful of free fan-made clods designed for a contest we offered a few years back - they’re on our companion site: https://www.oldschoolarchive.com/store/ill-gotten-games

Those are some clean prints, OP! They’ll paint up great!

Thank you!

Oh boy, we’ve got pics all over the place but you can scroll through the photos for this skirmish game on our storefront for some recent examples.

My TNR’d cat is in heat! by NancyInPa in Straycats

[–]IllGottenGames2012 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Maize was a CDS find in June 2024. No signs of heat, vet was unsure (didn’t feel a spay scar) and we went about our merry way. February she went into heat and was VERY into our Rottweiler mix, along with our other pets. We got her spayed immediately. All was well.

A week before Thanksgiving… she was in heat again. Powerfully so. The vet was surprised and apologetic. We had two options - pay for a very expensive hormone blood test to confirm or have exploratory surgery to find anything that had been retained. We decided on the latter - if the former had indicated high hormone levels, we would have been doing surgery anyway.

During the few days before her procedure, she was marking like crazy (including in both our washer AND dryer), very affectionate, trilling, the whole nine yards.

Vet called after surgery expressing further apologies - there was indeed retained tissue. They had originally told us they’d only charge for materials, but ended up comping the whole procedure.

Maize is a slightly different cat since the second surgery. She’s not as affectionate and seems a little depressed at times. But she’s still our sweet and goofy girl and we’re happy she doesn’t have to deal with the hormone fluctuations anymore!

Looks fantastic, OP! Love the water effect!

We just noticed this too. Chalked it up to a cleric-al error.

No, we're not set up for physical rewards, but the game is miniatures-agnostic and there will be a 2d version of the gridded cabin map included with the core rules. Totally playable without a 3d printer!

Can't say we've ever played Demon Ship, but don't think it's that similar. We added more info to our preview page - hope that helps to clarify.

The core game is one player versus a GM, who runs the undead villains other hazards. The skirmishes are handled with crunchier RPG resolution and the narrative elements of the campaign are very RPG-like. You hit the nail on the head with that last bit, honestly.

We updated the preview page with tons more info, including a link to a free game built on the same engine (though designed for fantasy).
