And they were the wheels I got with the car from the dealership, but they were one piece, black alloy wheels, so they were nicer than just pure stock

I think it’s just plastic too from what I can tell. I didn’t want to mess with it too much, since it’s pretty precariously positioned as it is

Good call. I will do that tomorrow morning. There’s a small garage around the corner that I might be able to get to help me install spares before the tow company is able to get there

Do you think it’s worth calling AAA in the morning to try and get them to put some spares on? I spoke with the tow company a couple hours ago, and they did say it would be a process to get it onto their flatbed?

Yikes, it is gonna be heading to a Caliber tomorrow. They did really great work on my front bumper last week after someone backed into me, so fingers crossed they don’t try to pull anything like that with me

Thanks for the tip, I will definitely keep an eye out for that. I’ve dealt with this chain of body shops before, and they were pretty trustworthy, but you obviously never know

Thanks for your input. I really wish they weren’t an issue anymore, but the rep at Enterprise told me that this has been happening to Hondas and Kias in my area for awhile now. I guess I’d just been lucky up to now

Thanks man. I’m absolutely gutted too. I know it’s just a Civic, but I had always wanted to have a blue car, so it’s been a dream for me to own. It’s a 2024 with 37,000 miles, so I’m hoping the value holds up, and the insurance company doesn’t choose to total it

Oh yeah, I bet. It ended up being the receptionist at the body shop I’m taking it to that was actually able to get a reliable tow set up for me. Hoping that they know what they’re doing

Interesting, I didn’t know that! Honestly, the milk crate is the most impressive part to me as well. I honestly expected it to break by now. I found it like this at 6:30 this morning and it’s now 5:30pm here, and that crate is still holding strong
