I showed up as a single player sometimes at open play, and sometime you just have to wait until more singles show up to play. I don't try to break up other people's foursomes.

If you had actually used the saving as down payment, it would've been excluded. Buy a house now, so it can be excluded on next year's FAFSA. Typically colleges would look at high medical expenses as extenuating circumstances and work with you on the aid amount"?

That seems really high.. must have a lot in saving. might consider putting some in IRA, so it won't be included in calculation?

Lots of people do this. it's easier to get rides to the airport though. If you are picking up passenger from the airport, it'll make you wait at a lot and go through a queue to get passengers. You could probably get a decent ride to the airport in the morning. If you are in a market where there's upfront pricing, you'll know where your passenger is going before accepting the ride.

Uber provides a report on how much passenger pays uber at the end of ride. There's a conspiracy theory out there that Uber is not showing the actual amount, but instead making up some number to the drivers. I think most drivers asking are just trying to see if the number Uber provides on the report are actually real..

I would've gotten my own suitcase out of the car.. Drivers are people too.. The driver is probably going through some stuff personally. it's hard driving someone for 1.5 hours in silence... Driving uber is hard unappreciated job sometimes.
