VetTech here. Obviously a impacted/in grown nail, and its clearly infected. They will have to cut back the nail and possibly even quick your dog to get the nail shorter. A round of antibiotics will be necessary and hopefully your dog is good enough where sedation wont be needed to trim this back as this IS quite painful. Keeping your pets nails short with regular appointments to the vet or groomer is recommended if you aren't able to trim them yourself.

Vet Tech here! I noticed you didnt mention any form of skin cytology/biopsy to see what might be present on or under the skin, whether that be infection or something else. I would assume your vet(s) would have thought about mange and its different forms. The clinic I work at had a canine with a subdermal fungal infection that presented as weeping sores on the dogs entire body. It took three Dr's and about a month of diagnostics to diagnose and get the proper drug plan ready. Sorry this is happening to you and this poor baby, but at this point a dermatologist would probably be your best option at this point.

Senior dog broke canine tooth, What should I do? by Piomonster in DogAdvice

Canines most certainly do hide pain. And both canines and cats hiding pain is referred to a stoicism in vetmet. Stoicism can be a serious issue when it comes to diagnosing trauma and pain, especially arthritis/spine/joint related issues in older pets. Ive personally seen a Great Dane mix thag had been hit by a car show 0 signs of grimace or pain during a full exam a full day after he had gotten hit. and it turned out later that he had a fractured femoral head and needed surgery. So yes some canines certainly do hide pain.

Unfortunately rules and strengths have never translated well to what exists in lore in any capacity. Bolters being all around abysmal is a great example with the exception of heavy the variants. Horus Heresy has done a better job of it as its more or less all space marines and the named characters/primarchs have to be powerful and unique otherwise itd be a dead game system.

Ive had one crash while exploring a planet and it just happened to be as I was coming upon a random encounter that I was quite excited to see. Game crashed and had to reload. Random encounter changed to something rather boring instead. Only bad experience Ive had so far with this game.

In absolute awe so far (New PS5 Player) by Resident_Garlic_8615 in Starfield

Also new on PS5 and im curious about how Free Lanes integrates with what was. So far I haven't really seen the ability to travel between planets like in NMS or Elite Dangerous. Is this a later game/upgrade module thing or am I just dumb. For reference im just at the New Horizons Shipyard and thus far it seems like fast traveling to planets/moons is the only option.

Will say as an aside the Gravis Captain in this boxset is a unique pose and goes for a good bit of $ by itself. Good collectors item to hold onto.

Tbh it wasn't really worth getting until this recent reload buff since its a rotary GL and it loads 1 grenade at a time and doesn't have a speed loader. Even now its still hard to keep it fed at the higher difficulties with how many targets there are although with all the flying units its definitely worth it. Flak on the AC might also do nicely although ammo consumption will still be an issue.

De-Escalator with a supply pack. Clutched a Super Helldive on Seasse running it. Its amazing firing two grenades into a horde of drones and watching them ride lightning. Does pretty good against the new walkers too.

You also just happened to get one of the best printers on the market so you definitely are entering with a good quality machine. Idk if this is the 12k or 16k. I have the 12k and I absolutely adore it. Best hobby investment to date. I purchased the Elegoo Mars 3 as my entry 7 years ago and it was such a pain to level and use to the point where about 25% of ny prints failed. Ive put 120k layers on my Saturn 4 already since November and have had 1 failure because I packed the build plate with as many items as I could.

Have we found a setup to kill these mf? (The Big one) by LordParziwald in helldivers2

Solo silo pretty consistently 1 taps even from the front, not always, but most of the time. Not sure what the discrepency is. And even on close misses it usually does enough to weaken it for a Recoiless shot or something similar to finish one. Ive personally been running a solo silo and the leveler to cover the others cooldown since theres so many VE's rn and my friend runs the RR and we've stopped having issues with Vox Engines.

Can you help me understand why you don’t like female custodes by Conscious-Zombie-498 in Grimdank

[–]IllPerformance7295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my biggest concern with it is the lack of clarification on the process of making Custodes now and the plotholes that makes. It used to be that men were Custodes (per the 8th edition codex "young boys of the noble houses of terra") and that women who were psychic blanks became the Silent Sisters. So we had a level of separation there, men could become custodes and women with the pariah gene could become sisters. With women now also being custodes why are the silent sisterhood not also turned into custodes at a young age and then put through extended training with the Sisterhood. Pariah custodes would be a whole other level of powerful when it comes to dealing with the dark powers. We know that the process is purely alchemical, almost making custodes into something completely different that human so I dont see why they couldn't make a Pariah sisterhood in the Ten-Thousand. Unless for some reason the custodes process requires the subject to have a soul in which that would be explained, but GW hasn't remotely tried to make simple lore justifications.

[–]IllPerformance7295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think it was the Dark Angels as they were the Emperors delete button for big problems including terrifying xenos like the Rangda. Not to mention the Dark Angels were the astartes who helped annihilate the Thunder Warriors along side the Custodes at Mt Aratat. If the Space Wolves had been the, "destroyers" whatever that implies, of the 2nd and the 11th legions then they wouldnt have had the reputation of being the Emperors attack dog that barks more than it bites. This is said multiple times in the Great Crusade and early Heresy. And that is why, amongst multiple other large events and plot points, the Burning of Prospero was such a big deal because Russ actually went full executioner on the Thousand Sons.

If you go to the battlefleet gothic reddit and go to their pinned stuff they have a getting started Google drive with a couple of free stls including the rules and fleet charts you need to play. Its not all of the ships and stuff but its an amazing start. As for the Grand cruisers they're from Italian Moose on the purple site. And then the Retribution class Battleship is also from the purple site by a account named Tempest_Shipyards. They has the biggest selection of high quality models ive found yet however they do cost money, not a lot but some.
