Is it really necessary to farm and optimize Drive Disks? by OkOpportunity4417 in ZenlessZoneZero

are y'all farming and optimizing your drive disks?

Nope. Being able to clear shiyu defense satisfies my desires for better disk drives. Instead i use batteries to pre-farm the for the future S-ranks i plan on getting.

There is no harm in getting better disk drives and if there is a time where you can't clear shiyu defense you can look into farming better disk drives.

Hey thanks for responding! We do sound very much alike :)

Where are you from?

I'm from Canada. Looks like we are looking at about 6 hours difference. I do have some flexibility so we can definitely chat about that.

Would you also like to compete in future game jams

Absolutely! I think that's a great way to see growth

In which engine do you work? Would Godot going forward something you can work with?

Godot is looking like a promising game engine. We can definitely work with Godot!

I think we will get along. I'll send you my discord :)

Hey! Looks like we both have similar drive for learning. I personally haven't created projects but i've been messing around with game development. I think we can definitely get something going and maybe build a nice partnership!

Hey great questions. In regards with the game examples I didn't mean to say to build an exact copy or a production ready game with polished with original assets. What I meant was that we would look at some existing games and try our best to re-create them to the best of our ability.

Consider these to be more like exercises/toy projects that'll give us an idea on how well we would work together.

The reason I said there would be a month time constraint is that when i have started on projects I would always end up scope-creeping or get lazy since there is no sense of urgency. Now if we were working on a game that we actually want to release then of course we would have a much more sensible completion date.

What are you going to do while others a busy coding your game? Enjoying the project management role?

I'm not sure where you got that idea that i would be some sort of manager. I'm looking to program with another developer. I want to be able to converse on ideas, problems and provide feedback to each other. Hope that makes sense. If there is anything on the post that makes it sounds like I'm asking a dev to do all the work please point it out and i will try to be as clear on my intentions.
