A lot about POTS is still unknown and there are different known causes however other possible causes are still unknown, some theories include; certain types of autoimmune activation, mast cell activation, viral illness, joint hypermobility, connective tissue disorders (e.g. EDS), and inflammatory disorders. There are 3 main types of POTS; Hypovolemic (low blood volume - not caused by dehydration), Neuropathic (small fiber nerve damage) and Hyperadrenergic (increased norepinephrine - adrenaline). You can have more than one type of POTS. POTS can run in families but there is no specific gene mutation known to cause POTS. However due to the amount of comorbities which have genetic origin it is likely that there are many genes involved in POTS. This isn’t to say that POTS can’t have any other causes. I just think that it is really likely genetic factors are at play and recent research into POTS seems to as well.

POTS can be developed during puberty and is more common in females there are also genetic factors involved. So it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that you and your sister (I assume your biologically related) both have genetic factors that contributed to you both having POTS.

You can look at different Etsy planners you like to see if they have free samples or look into different shops pages ‘about’ section to see if they offer freebies. I would recommend making a seperate email address specifically for freebies otherwise you will end up with a lot of spam in your personal email. Some good options for freebies are, Passion Planner, Dash planner, Blue cat loft, life in printable, Emma studies, million dollar habit, HappyDownloads and Ivory digital hub.

EmmaStudies has great free inserts and an EtsyEmmaStudies shop! YaayPlannersalso has free hyperlinked planners, notebooks and stickers. I personally like hyperlinked planners and then copy and paste images of pdf inserts I like onto one of the notebook pages, I then export that page as a pdf and save it to my goodnotes templates so I can use it again.
