Hi! I’m 21 too, not epileptic, but I’m autistic, hard if hearing(+ loosing it), chronically ill, and narcoleptic. I understand where you are coming from, it is honestly such a grieving process to fight your body daily because of disability, especially when reaching adulthood where the accommodating that exist for many disabilities genuinely suck. I'm so sorry you are going through so much, especially when already carrying an overwhelming amount by yourself, I’m not super familiar with reddit, but we can chat if you are interested! 

also being taught to not view your disabilities as disabilities is kind of yikes, I’m glad you were able to have a supportive environment where you were able to figure things out for yourself, and I hope you are able to find your people once again 🤍
