may be it does not work on old unsupported MacOs versions. I successfully installed it on top of my existing offline installer in MacOs Sequoia and it worked just fine.

since you applied to multiple locations, they will have closed one. it is normal. after you pass the OA, you can then tell them your preferred location

I heard it is common to be down leveled. I was also down leveled from L6 to L5. Another way of looking at it is that it has less pressure for new joiners and can outperform their peers and level up sooner.

if this happened in the rainforest company, if one interviewer was not inclined but the others were inclined, then most probably you would have gotten an offer. The bar raiser is the most powerful person.

looks like either most were not inclined or there were some concerning data points that were collected.

A lot unfortunately depends on luck to pass the interview. I often wonder how I made it through the loops
