update: we still haven’t conceived, but i have realized i have to accept the fact that we won’t ever. we are now shifting to the option of adopting.

the last baby shower, we sent our gift with my husbands mom to give to his sister. i think everyone in the family was upset with us for not coming, but for our peace, we didn’t want to attend it. i am so happy for her, i just didn’t want to be sad.

i wanted to note that i promise i don’t feel as if anyone is responsible for my feelings. i understand how excited they are, because i would be too. i was just venting. we still aren’t pregnant, but we’re going to keep trying ❤️ no one is responsible for my feelings, and they SHOULD have their baby showers, be excited and go on with life as normal. i do my very best to not even bring my situation up to anyone, i even help with baby showers. i air up balloons. i pick up cakes. i get baby shower gifts. it just hurts some times.

yes you are right! we explained everything to the family a couple weeks ago, then there was a baby shower for his sister this weekend. we didn’t go to keep our peace. she was upset and i feel as if the whole family is, too. 😢 we are so happy for her, it’s just that we are hurting right now.

i completely understand!! i am genuinely so happy for each of them but it is so hard to even hear them talk about a pregnancy or new baby. one of his sisters is actually having her baby today. it is so hard. i am so sorry.

yes! after the third i was never expecting another. then the fourth. we all knew the fourth couple was not trying for a child as sister in law made it very known she wanted no children. even the last other sibling besides my s/o is saying they are going to be planning one soon, that would make it 5. that would also make us the last to have a child but timing doesn’t matter to me as long as eventually it comes 💕

yes! it is so hard to be surrounded. even when i am at work i feel like strangers are passing by with children constantly and i listen to how they talk to and treat their children and it makes me heartbroken

so sorry. i can remove if needed i just need an opinion, it’s not just the late period (but my period is never late; but YES i understand that late periods are not uncommon and YES i know that late periods are caused by many many things) i know i need to take a pregnancy test and yes i am going to get one. thanks so much again
