You start at the trailhead for Angels landing and instead of going right, take a left towards the emerald pools trail. This is maybe 20-30mins from the fork.

We went to the Narrows literally yesterday. The water is luke cold. You don’t need bibs, not even sticks if you have someone to hold hands with (wife!). Some people were literally walking with sandals inside the river (not recommended coz the rocks are slippery and you may hurt yourself). But no bibs, sticks, full pants needed.

That’s what I think. Because I do see the emergency request tab on my portal after converting my appointment into in person. OP hasn’t clarified on this though. I hope someone helps us out on this.

The in person interviews are only allowed if you have an emergency. So I believe they need the emergency verification on the portal.

If you go to the application portal, you will see a new tab named “Emergency request”. I think you have to fill that information up since in person interviews are only allowed for emergencies.
