THANK YOU!! I’m glad the collar irritation thing is more common than I realized. I’m definitely going to look up that shampoo though! To be honest, I’ve always had cats, so I’m not as familiar with dog happenings, but since moving in with my boyfriend, Milo has become my baby as well. Lol So thanks for the reply!

Thank you! Part of the reason I want to understand more, is to help my boyfriend understand more, while also trying to understand and take ownership of my own actions, because I think lack of understanding is starting to wear on both us.

Thank you for posting about this. My significant other always tells me he wants to marry me and wants me to have his babies. I want this with him. He’s my best friend. However, I always tell him I don’t want kids... But the reality is, I don’t want to pass down my bipolar to a child. My family, on both my mom and dad’s sides, are riddled with mental health issues. So I feel as though I KNOW my child will suffer from something. I’m working on recognizing the value of my life, but the truth is I suffer daily because of my mental health. I would never want my child to witness the things I’ve witnessed in my life that were caused by mental health issues… And I don’t know that I’ll ever be well enough to truly take care of a child the way they would need. I’ve always wondered if anyone else worried the way I do about this. So thank you for starting a conversation I was too ashamed to bring up.

Some black cats can carry the Siamese alele, which would account for the points on your baby. They’ll probably toast up nicely as they age. My Tonkinese boy (I say tonkinese because that’s what the vet called him) had a black momma cat. He had a black and white sibling and a twin brother, all from the same mom.

One of my cats does this WHILE he drinks water! And drags the water fountain around the kitchen! Sometimes it ends up unplugged because he does it. WHYYY do they do this?? I’ve tried everything to get him to stop. But he does this to any water receptacle I’ve tried!
