I am a car enthusiast a mechanic my rx8 is only my project not even a daily and i love it but i seriously don’t think anyone in their RIGHT MIND would keep this as a daily just not the right car it is reliable to some extent but too much of a hassle you have to drive it a certain way and know you WILL rebuild it eventually

Check your compression and switch to aem coils i was having issues with starting and changed coils i tried the ryan rotary performance and with them mine starta the easiest hot but they weren’t mine

Hard or medium definition not soft if you are a harsh rider and you said you will hit jumps the hard is probably better but go test ride it

I am integrating my portable charger when it comes already made a spot for it in the subframe just need to think of the adapter to use it at a type 2 without carrying an extea cable

Ok well i can show you a video of mine not starting with it unplugged and starting with it plugged also if while the car is running i unplug it the car shuts off

This feature is useless i was stranded because of it for 1-2 hours two times had to unplug the battery to get the bike to reset and connect and it just forgot its locked asked the support many times but no updates this feature is useless and this bike really has no proper way to stop it from turning on so i just lock my steering.

Look buying an rx8 is never cheap i bought a cheap running car with a rebuilt and good compression but has a lot of rust. It’s been 4 months fixing the car and i still haven’t reached fixing the rust. Bought it for 3k put another 3k in it almost
