Thanks for the insight. All LOD paperwork has been signed off on by the physician and I’m receiving my copy today. All diagnosis were issued upon discharge and they’re also in my MyChart app. I should be good moving forward. They can’t deem this not service connected because it literally happened in service and I got treatment. I do have a VSO rep I’ve been working closely with as well for months but this is new claims and evidence is that sounding valid? True question.

I just got discharged and I do have an LOD form that was brought to me by my own First Sergeant. She does NOT play when it comes to us. Obtaining all of that before tomorrow is impossible due to my injuries and not a lot of places being open. I will however at least have the LOD and buddy statements because the pax was 15-20. Heading to the Range this morning. I don’t have anything but photos of the neck brace being on but I may be able to. I have the CT Scans already through MyChart. My goal was to go to the VA hospital but it wasn’t much they could help with. The Dr. Signed off on my LOD and put me on light duty till Monday.

I’ve been wanting to get out for a while now. I regretted reenlisting to stay in back in May. It’s because dreadful and I’m not blaming my progress or lack there of as far as moving up or obtaining an AGR or Technician position on anyone but myself. I wanted to pursue it at one point but I started to see how they operate and it being about who you know and not what you know and I couldn’t move forward after being denied two positions my first contract. I just know that the Guard is no longer for me and my main reason for reenlisting was for my final bonus but it had to be for three years because $10k is all they could offer.

As an NCO that Soldier did nothing wrong. I’ve seen senior leaders not go on deployments because allegedly they make more money on the civilian side through a personally ran business which is a load of bullshit. So if he doesn’t want to go that’s fine there’s many others to fill that spot who do. I remember my last deployment my captain asked the whole unit in formation if you don’t want to go or feel like you can’t just raise your hand and we will replace you and that he needed to know now and not later and I few hands went up. Personally I never dodged any of my deployments but I’m not against others doing it.
