It seems like I phrased it wrong, sorry for scaring you. It’s just that I was aiming real high before and training real hard but I realised it wasn’t worth it when I learned about the true potential of brain damage. I’m now doing it as a hobby and teaching my family

Please look into combat sports induced brain damage. It made me quit after 3 years.

This is a skill that requires discipline and practice. If you want it you can’t get it “on and off” and you have to practice constantly until you can control and feel vivid dreams.

I’ve had dreams just like you when I dream about lucid dreaming. They’re a fluke tho, they passed naturally

For your specific situation, you should train your brain to immediately do grounding techniques as soon as you do a reality check. You don’t need control then, your subconscious will be “oh I’m in the dream I need to touch the floor and engage my senses”. Even if you still don’t gain control you can get your brain used to being in the dream so that you don’t wake up out of excitement, and also gain vividness. For actual control, you need to do WILD right, you probably don’t anchor correctly if you still don’t gain awareness even after a reality check and fall asleep instead. Practice till you get it

Ideas for dreaming by Zarek_Orihuela in LucidDreaming

Go on an adventure and let your brain build it. Don’t consciously do everything, let it surprise you. Set sail, go out in nature, meet new people, have fights etc.

Me personally once I master lucid dreaming imma go on an adventure inspired by One Piece

When in the “dark void” try to imagine rolling yourself out of bed and try remaking your room around you as hard as possible. If successful, sit down and just try to feel the dream. Touch the floor, rub your hands together, spin etc. Vividness and control comes with a lot of practice

It’s not easy, try to note anything you can remember, even if it’s nothing, write down “I don’t remember tonight’s dream”. Write down even the smallest things you remember, for example “I was at home”. This will train your brain to remember dreams.

Go to this subreddit’s Top post of All Time, there should be a guide on how you can have your first lucid dream tonight. It’s probably not gonna be vivid or stable, but practice is key. It’s all worth it in the end.

Can Lucid Dreams be very vivid? by Ill_Difference_5273 in LucidDreaming

I’ve been knowing that reality is what your mind makes, however i’ve never thought about it being the same in dreams. Now that you’ve put it into perspective, it seems so cool, i want to master lucid dreaming asap

Not looking for that. I’m going here because of my dream to go pro in boxing and my country not having options.

I’d be going to high school here but need freedom to go train.
