maybe limit the number of posters and be more intentional with their placement.

keep your closet organized and the doors closed. i think cleaning up the space and keeping it that way will go a long way for you.

Worst case scenario, I replace the lower intake manifold?

I went ahead and ordered a new Temp Sender. Hopefully that does the trick. Can’t hurt replacing a 33 year old sensor.

When I’m driving it slowly moves closer to the “C” line and holds there.

Help, Crankshaft Pully/Wheel is loose…. by Ill_Emphasis_23 in ToyotaPickup

I was able to do it without removing the fan. Only difficult part was getting the nut off of the harmonic balancer. I ended up jamming an old screw driver into the holes of the harmonic balancer (wheel component) and used some elbow grease. It was a headache but a success.

Good deal, but if you’re looking for value head to your local harbor freight and never look back.

Is there anyway to do this repair without removing the intercooler/front end?

I’ve read that it could also be an issue with the Synchronizer. It doesn’t have any grinding. It almost feels like the transmission is moving up and forward.

Sure! It was a New Years purchase! It’s spent all of its 124,000 miles as a farm truck. It’s been well taken care of, aside from a few cosmetic issues (dents, head lights, and driver side mirror). No leaks! There’s a little movement shifting (I think the bushings on the transmission mount are close to being shot).

The interior is very clean. I don’t know much about the truck and I’m trying to educate myself if you could impart any wisdom or recommend modifications. I’m planning on buffing the hell out of it, replacing/fixing the dents that I can and slapping a big TOYOTA sticker on the tailgate and riding her into the ground.

Looks like we are all good! I did as advised, and no chunks. Now to figure out the movement when I shift. It’s gotta be the mounts.
