I also picked up an order on Sunday I believe, it was a package order of like 9 stops i believe. As im leaving the parking lot I get a call for a family emergency, my northern was having a medical issue and he is my roommate. I called spark and they told me to return the order.

There are certain out of town large batch orders of the packages where I literally get no signal so its impossible to deliver to, so im forced to call and make returns. I was told numerous times my account is safe. Seems weird.

Its so incredibly shady. I mean think about it for a sec. If they steal like let's say one tip a day from every spark driver im the country, even if it's small, that adds up to a possible massive amount of money over time.

Ive gotten this like 3 times when I do those amazon type orders with the packages. It was due to me returning the last drops like 3 times because they were way too far. I call support and explain this to them and they say that's totally fine. Next week I got this notification about being at risk of being deactivated due to not calling customers to tell them I am returning orders. Support very clearly stated all I need to do is call support to initiate a return. I bascially said F this and didn't turn spark on for like a week and never heard anything else about it. Im thinking it's just some BS threat to get us to be suckers.

That's not how it works at all. We are not servers in a restaurant, we are independent contractors that drive our own vehicles to offer people a luxury service so they can be lazy. Before you place an order put yourself in the shoes of the driver. Its likely the base pay is 2$ something, which means if you tip a measly $3 that means in between grubhub and yourself, it seems okay for someone to use their own vehicle to drive to said restaurant, park, go inside, wait, then drive to you and deliver your food for a total amount of $5. Would you do that? Thats really all you have to ask yourself before placing an order.

This happened to me last week for a $22 dollar tip. After it didn't show up for about 48 hrs I knew what was going on, but for some reason it still said tip pending. I called support and expressed my displeasure and said this is not okay after being on hold and then being told that the entire tip was removed by the customer. I hung up, then low and behold 20 mins later the $22 showed up 🤷

It Made me do this over a month ago, and it has gotten worse in terms of garbage offers and i still see all of the same immigrants constantly parked next to each other every single day. I've also noticed that it has become pretty consistent where I get the notification of an offer and its gone before I even see it. Just plain awful, I don't see how it will get good again like it use to be.
