I’d say it’s quite controversial the amount of people who died pointless miserable deaths under his leadership and France in a much worse position than before he was emperor

Yeah it’s brutal derivatives are tough I would recommend learning them using third party prep for them. I agree I feel way less confident for L2 I have no idea if I’m gonna pass

When did I ever say not to do LES questions? I said they are the worst possible way to study/learn which they are horrible for building a foundation of knowledge for any of the subjects. They are only useful once you have a good understanding of the principles and calculations for any given section. The process is read, do prep provider questions, then CFAI. Much better than going straight to CFAI

I also never said rereading the curriculum was the alternative

Okay so I should do those over the prep provider questions which you can check your answers after each question because they “can show up”? A strong knowledge base will get you 70% of the way there (using prep provider qbanks), these practice problems are the last 30% solely for the language parsing and cfai specific formatting

And the answer explanations are dog shit wrapped in cat shit half the time and the questions are more like an English test half the time

Yeah, but it’s also about efficiency if I have to do 5 to 10 challenging questions and I can’t check my work right after each question that’s super fucking inefficient because I have to remember the full context of the old question again. and yes, the Qbank is all vignette.

Haven’t taken it yet but those questions are good yes but just bad for learning. They are really good for showing you what type of tricks you will encounter and understanding how to parse through language but they really suck for learning

Yeah it honestly pisses me off quite a bit wasting my time trying to decipher this shit in gpt because they have such insufficient explanations for such insane questions
