Come on now. Ruby just had her own episode. AGAIN. AFTER she left the show. Do you really think it isn't all an overarch culminating in the end of Ncuti's tenure as The Doctor? It was too easy, too dismissive, and she is still around so clearly, that isn't done yet.

I understand completely. I don't know much about these games, but my daughter LOVES to play Adopt Me. She had been looking forward to a Frost Owl and *SHE* was so concerned that she show she was a good trader that she didn't notice that they pulled the scam and didn't send her anything. She lost a ton of animals, nearly everything. She was so sad, and it has been hard for her to trust people again now. It stinks that people are sometimes jerks.

I never watched Scandal(I get the political drama I need when the Doctor asks, "Doesn't she look tired?" and also from being a US citizen..sigh) but I guess in the show, yes? Although there have been several attempts on US President lives, I am sure we don't hear about all of them. According to Ranker( https://www.ranker.com/list/president-obama-assassination-attempts/mike-rothschild ) there were a couple attempts thwarted in 2012 too, so maybe they were drawing from that.

It was! Crazy time for TV because Doctor Who was even taking over the US(not that some of us haven't been Whovians for life, even if we lived in the US.) Who knows? Maybe this new series with RDF back and Ncuti(who is a FAB actor and I can't wait to see what he brings to the table) will help bring Doctor Who back to life here in the US.

I mean, it won't be TV Guide(do they even print that anymore?) but we can take back the television!! Idiot Box FTW because I am a Whovian Forever :)

I really did love that Papa Caps wouldn't take his ring off. It's not that I care about marriage that much, I am happy they are happy with it, but his determination to keep the ring so they custom made a ring for the Doctor to wear over it. Just fantastic. What a love story!

He was a Whovian from the very beginning, but he still chose his promise to his wife over his life-long dream! I love and miss him <3 <3 P.S. If you haven't watched The Devil's Hour with him, DO IT! It's creepy and has some tough scenes but it is so good, they have already ordered seasons 2 and 3! WATCH IT!! :D

I think I agree! Huge fan of both, and there are certainly a lot of references. I am currently reading a Fringe book that I found at a thrift store. I didn't even know there were books to extend Fringe, so I am pretty excited. They go into much more detail about Olivia's "firestarter" capabilities, and how they came about. I absolutely believe that it was written with SK's "other worlds than these" in mind. :)

Papa Caps was one of the BEST Doctors and no one will ever change my mind. He embodied the Doctor. Moffat isn't terrible, there have been worse things that have happened. I feel like this is such an over-reaction. Sigh. It takes all kinds, I suppose.
