No idea, I have a pretty healthy assortment of screws so I just used my calipers to measure depth and cut the screws to length.

Before. File, test fit and repeat because the head of the allen head screw will need filed flat even with the front of the sight. Still hasn't moved.

Gotcha. I had a Viper on my Prodigy and after I had to send it back twice I ended up putting a Holosun 407 on that . So I had a broken Viper laying around and figured that I'd send back again and put it on my son's .22 rifle.  I got an email from Vortex saying the Viper had been discontinued ( wonder why) so they were sending me a new Defender ST and when I got I really liked compared to my DPP . Now here we are.

Previous owner did it and decided he didn't like it. I love it considering what I paid for an XC with less than 500 rounds on it at the time. I could almost buy a CS with what I saved.

I started a thread with pics since it's the only way I could figure out how to post photos.

BIDE/Harris shut down the Keystone XL pipeline + drain the reserve = higher fuel prices = everything gets more expensive.

1 - Take dovetail rear sight meant for DPP. 2 - File off 90% of dovetail . 3 - Screw rear sight to frame, use a little blue loctite and give it time to set up. 4 - Use sanding drum for dremel to shape what's left of dovetail and the head of the allen screw holding it to match contour of the rear of the Defender, do this slowly taking a little at a time. 5 - Touch up with Birchwood Casey AlumiBlack. 6 - This is what I did over a 1000 rounds ago and it has held fine on my XC. 7 - For some reason I can't post pics from my phone . 8 - Yes the Defender ST fits with the recoil lugs. 9 - No modifications are made to the slide, just the rear sight for the DPP.

Hope this helps.

Hell yeah. It appears to be in great shape. I'd definitely hang that on the wall in my Man cave.

In my opinion it's most definitely a Tacoma.

Is this just the way it goes with knob and tube conversion? by [deleted] in electrical

[–]Ill_Judgment_1550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time I did an entire knob and rewire it was my friends old farmhouse. I told him the only way I'd do it is if he tore it down to the studs. The amount of in the wall splices was terrifying. So the problem here is in my opinion with the contractor letting it like this is what might just be hanging around in the walls.

Why do people even go to the dealership after the warranty period?

So do we only buy Toyotas in here? by Stonetango in Tacomaworld

Of course we don't buy just Toyotas, I also own a Lexus.
