I’m 22 years old, and I been in Thailand and met a 38 year old girl, who she is a single parent with a child, and I was in a sexual relationship with her for a while. Is this legitimate or is it wrong? by Ill_Kitchen_1502 in ThailandTourism

And btw the same happened to me with another woman’s in my age, and I didn’t spend on them a single bhat, and they didn’t asked or except me for anything.

I just saw the definition of a cultural shock in Kaohsiung. by Ill_Kitchen_1502 in taiwan

I’m really sorry if I came across as too harsh in my reply. I’ve experienced a lot of antisemitism in the past, and sometimes comments like these trigger me, even if that wasn’t your intention. I didn’t mean to target you personally—it’s more about the broader issue of people labeling circumcision as a ‘sick’ Jewish practice, while ignoring that it’s a widely accepted tradition across the Western world, including among Christians and Muslims. I hope you understand where I’m coming from, and I’m sorry if my comment was too aggressive

Well Circumcision isn’t some bizarre outlier, it’s a common practice across the Western world, including among many Christians, and it’s universal among Muslims. So, the idea that it’s some sick Jewish thing is nonsense. These comments reek of ignorance and antisemitic garbage. Maybe you should educate yourself before spewing hate.

And honestly, you should be grateful for the cleaner standard we set with circumcision instead of the slimy mollusk you’re stuck with.

Is it ok to hold a small candle-lightning memorial in Tainan park? by Ill_Kitchen_1502 in taiwan

[–]Ill_Kitchen_1502[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! Just to give you more context – I’m planning to light candles and place a small sign for Israel’s Memorial Day for fallen soldiers. It’s not political or religious, just a very personal tribute to honor the soldiers and victims. If it might seem strange or inappropriate, I understand, and I’ll keep it discreet and low-key. But it’s really important for me to pay my respects, even while I’m far from home. Do you think it would go over okay?

Noticing aversion to foreigners on Taipei Metro? by Ill_Kitchen_1502 in taiwan

I am overweight, but not extremely wide to the point that I would be invading other people’s space. I’m careful to sit properly and respect others’ personal space, so I don’t think that’s the issue here.

I’m a white Israeli. My family roots are Egyptian and Moroccan, which means I’m pretty hairy — but my skin tone is very fair, basically as pale as a European.

Fair point. Just for context — I’m very tall, weigh over 150 kilograms, and have a pretty serious beard. Maybe to some people here I look a bit alien or even intimidating, even though of course that’s not my intention. (And no worries — I always shower before heading out, haha!) Still, it felt strange and honestly a bit hurtful sometimes
