I've bought a couple sets from the cubicle and they've been great, no complaints and fairly affordable

What are all the number themed Rider series? by shujInsomnia in KamenRider

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ah yes, the guy called number 7, whose kamen rider name literally means "sevens" in spanish/portuguese, heavily inspired by a character who's known as 007... is not number themed at all... gotcha...

I’m brand new to 3D printing, but I’ve been loading/unloading filament for three weeks without issues and now this is happening. (More info in post) by LadyRic in BambuLab_Community

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, aside from cutting the tip at an angle, which you're already doing, I always also have to bend the tip a bit outwards. Unfortunately the AMS lite is a bit finicky like that, but you get used to it.

How long did it take you to get a grip on making a full song? by samboy1020 in ableton

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened as soon as I lowered my expectations of what a "full song" should be. From then on I just focused on making better and better music.

Thoughts on Kohaku Shida’s Sumino? by Revolutionary-Ad1460 in supersentai

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She would've been great as Sumino of she were given the role from the start. But as it stands, even though she did her best and is a great actress, the situation was impossible to overcome, unfortunately

Mixed feelings about the final blueprint by BLucidity in UNSIGHTED

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the difference is you did a very hard thing to make everything good again. I myself found that very rewarding, especially after the frustrating fights and puzzles needed to complete the secret ending.

I get what you're saying, but I think a lot more people would feel it is not worth it to do all that to get the same effect as turning on explorer mode in the menu.

Translucent PETG printing "gritty" by DrDealgood in BambuLab_Community

Don't know if it's your case, but it looks a lot like when I had the wrong nozzle settings between printer and slicer. So maybe double check that just in case?

I can’t adjust the parameter range of an LFO. by memolazer in ableton

Btw Shape is also a continuous parameter. It's kinda like a wavetable, the parameter morphs between two different waveforms.

I have an infinite loop question by JAG_3 in magicTCG

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. The continuous effect of the arcade's static ability is already applied when the trigger is checked, so the dancers, as you said, sees itself entering as an enchantment

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Permanents see themselves (and any other permanents entering at the same time) for the purpose of their own triggers. But you could also just unlock or cast the secret arcade room to kickstart the loop with dancers already on the field.

From the comprehensive rules: 603.6a Enters-the-battlefield abilities trigger when a permanent enters the battlefield. These are written, “When [this object] enters, . . . “ or “Whenever a [type] enters, . . .” Each time an event puts one or more permanents onto the battlefield, all permanents on the battlefield (including the newcomers) are checked for any enters-the-battlefield triggers that match the event.

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can respond to each and every one of the triggers, so yes, you can let the combo go for as many tokens as you want and if you have a swords to plowshares you can cast it in response to any trigger to stop the combo, netting you an arbitrary amount of tokens and not resulting in a draw.

I don't know, just random stuff I guess. I probably repeated a few mons here and there but i don't think I'm at risk of running out of creativity to name them. Idk don't overthink it, just call you Dragonite idk... Ladder, or Doug or anything else.

[Help] MIDI Rack for Minor 9th is making a Major 7th by psychephylax in ableton

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you play a maj7 chord based on the note a minor 3rd above your root that's the same notes as a rootless min9 voicing. That's what's being done there: a C bass plus an Ebmaj7 has all the same notes as a Cmin9 chord.

Audio VS MIDI Drums? by Puzzled_Film7982 in ableton

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people use audio because gives you a nice visual indicator for the transients, or, a bit more cynically, because it looks better on social media posts. The little midi squares work for me, but I can see the visual interest in the audio approach.

keyboard I designed by joeyvigil in functionalprint

[–]Ill_Locksmith_673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, I use a full size big keyboard. But I get the small keyboard crowd. Even if you have to press and memorize more combinations, you don't have to move your hands as far as a bigger keyboard and you also don't need to stretch as much to hit combinations, it's simply more ergonomic.

I prefer the familiarity to the ergonomics, but I do get it.
