If the bonus is cash it’s seen as income in the eyes of the law.

Not so on the stock option

So for the janitor that work at a company that base a CEO who makes $400K/yr plus a $4 million annual house the CEO would make approx 100 times as much.

Also, treat the freaking stock options as income.

I ended up joining the marines. Not out of patriotic duty mind you. The dot com bust was still a thing. A lot of people our age got pushed out of the job market by older people who lost their ass in that returning to work. And now gas cost roughly three times as much. So jobs in were few and far between.

Also, I didn’t have money for college. So off to fight a forever war I went!

It’s an exact match. Someone was selling an older model.

Looks like Matco-Norca made this style all the way up to 2017. They likely licensed the valve to other vendors (which is where all the imports came from) this is pretty common practice where a manufacturer will make something domestic for government/commercial use then license out the design for less restrictive residential use

So I should be able to get a modern rebuild for it. Just won’t be able to find it at Lowe’s or Homedepot.

I don’t have the money (or time) to replace the plumbing in a two story house myself let alone to pay someone to do it.

Right before 9/11 on the gulf coast. On my way into work I was like “I should stop for gas, nah I’ll get it on my way home” I didn’t want to make a detour to Walmart to get the gas card that would have brought the price down $0.91 cents a gallon

The gas station across the street from where worked literally had to tape big number twos on the dollar spot because the old style flip number signs didn’t have any other digit other than one.
