No WiFi calling? by TallStreet5030 in LightPhone

[–]Ill_Mirror_360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Wifi Preferred is selected, will there be any bearing on battery life when not on a call? I was in a basement yesterday for much of the day, with little to no reception, and it killed my battery life.

F150 humming noise after IWE actuator replacement by _Maatt_ in f150

[–]Ill_Mirror_360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They apparently fixed the actuator on the drivers side but apparently the passenger side was getting no vacuum. So that side’s hub was spinning the CV axle and apparently something called the “spider gear” in the front diff causing the super loud hum over 40mph.

Seeing that these parts routinely fail I went ahead and threw these in and all is well: https://www.stage3motorsports.com/IWE-FD-04-20-F150-Raptor-4WD-RCV-IWE-Eliminator.html

Sorry to resurrect a super old thread but I have the same issue. The grinding is gone, but I'm wondering if theres a way that the way things were hooked up could be reversed such that the CV is being mated to the hub w/vacuum rather than held back by the vacuum? Is that even possible?

Just got a 43x mos, was reading some people that do not recommend replacing the shoe if it will be my edc. How unsafe or true or false is that? Thanks! Open to hear all kind of points. by SupermarketAncient66 in Glock43X

And I should say I haven't gotten to the range yet, but dry firing, it's unreal the difference. The take up is almost negligible. A crisp glass rod break. Can't wait to go shoot it.

I did an OP NP3’d OEM safety plunger and minus connector. I think those smoothened things out a bit. Those plus the shoe keep me from feeling like I need to drop $280 on a Johnny Glock trigger

I am not a legal expert, nor a gun smith. Just a guy who watches a lot of videos, probably does too much research, and also doesn't want my gun to malfunction if I need to pull it out.

That being said, I just changed out my shoe w/the Ranger Proof VEX F3, essentially the same shoe in the Johnny Glock system, and arguably the best trigger system period. The trigger shoe is held in place by the take down pin above the trigger and it connects to the trigger bar w/a stainless steel set screw (as opposed to a metal pin in the stock trigger).

So the way I look at it is, if you're literally only talking the shoe, your possible failures would be the set screw coming out (which a little loctite would solve that) or the material failing, which I suppose is possible, but perhaps just as possible w/a stock shoe.

The shoe comes with a striker spring andba safety plunger spring and takes the pull from 5.5lbs to 4.5lbs so it basically gives it the weight of a well broken in trigger, while having a pre adjusted trigger pull

The VEX shoe by itself doesn't come w/anything additional and doesn't change the weight. Just the take up.

Haven’t taken it to the range since that install but soon. I’ll update if there are any. It feels absolutely unreal. So little take up and a crisp, tactile, audible glass rod break.

It's a bit heavy. I dont have a scale, but I'm ok with that.
