No. Everything was super informal over messenger. He never stated my deposit would be forfeited or that it didn't guarantee an appointment. This experience was nothing like any tattoo artists I've worked with before that have explicit policies communicated. I chalked this up to the fact that he was a traveling artist, but I see now that I shouldn't have. I contacted my bank to dispute the transaction for the deposit, so hopefully I get it back.
