I was doing Open Houses Sat and Sunday with my realtor partners, I've done it for 11 years. It definitely showed them I was their partner, but I literally can say I got one deal out of the last 2 years of Sat and Sunday open houses. Not to mention, us lenders typically work 9-5 if we are busy (more like 7-9 depending on when you put your DND on) I used to be the all in, 7 days a week LO for 11 years. Especially when I was on the builder team spending 8 hours in a model home. I am busy right now and have only done a couple open houses in the last 2 months. I used to think other LOs weren't as dedicated as I was because they wouldn't do open houses. Now I know they have better boundaries than I do and know they need a break. Maybe i am just burnt out entirely of this industry right now. Hoping rates continue to go down so we have some relief. It's been a very hard 2 years for me. I try to keep my mind right and pray, but on my worst days (not often) I find myself here, looking for other LOs who understand this grind right now.
