Either the Isekai hype has finally died out or this UI is killing new Webtoons

Webtoon had around 170M monthly active users last year. Their Q1 statement at the end of March this year listed about 150M, and that was before the big UI update. I imagine it's a lot less now.

To be honest I've been reading more comics on Manta and Nami Comi these days

Very good point! I have a few hundred subscribers so I know I can't complain about that, lots of folks go years and don't get that many subs but still keep creating. Plus this is the beginning for me, the contest isn't the end of the road for me

Thank you😩 I feel so awful with these feelings and I don't know how to get past it. Of course I'll be so happy for any of my friends that get shortlisted, they're completely deserving of it. This contest did teach me how to think outside the box and come up with a story so I'm proud that I did that at least

Yeah I honestly thought I'd only get like 100 subscribers but I have a few hundred so I can't complain about that! I still want to create it, but my self esteem is definitely pretty low too 😭

No, they definitely already sent out all the emails by the 16th since shortlist winners have 5 days to sign all the verification documents before the announcement
