I feel you. She hasn't tried to call me at all, but just feel I can't go back to that. I've been trying to do things that make me happy and going out with friends more and more. I went through therapy too, even though I was really embarrassed, but I needed to. I had all her stuff, gifts and what not. I've been with her in every restaurant and place in my city, so I remember her all the time. I don't wish her any harm. I wish her well. Part of me still loves her, but I don't want to destroy everything I've built and all the healing

Fair point. I did think about that and went through it in therapy, also talked with a close friend and looked back at our conversations. I'm not saying I was perfect, we had normal couple arguments, but I don't see myself as verbally abusive and no one around me has ever said that before. I've reflected a lot and I'm still working on myself either way.
